ABC News “Goes Pink” for October
This October, ABC news is asking everyone to make a pledge to learn more about the risks of Breast Cancer. Last year was ABC’s first year launching ABC Goes Pink to spread Breast Cancer awareness. One of their news anchors, Amy Robach agreed to have a mammogram done live on T.V. and the aftermath was quite extraordinary as Robarch was actually diagnosed with breast cancer. We think it’s very important that both men and women are educated about the risks of Breast Cancer and think that ABC is doing a wonderful job by taking a personal triumph over cancer and pledging to save lives.
Marvel creates visual costume inspiration on Pinterest
Marvel is encouraging its followers to draw inspiration from their Pinterest page for Halloween preparation. They are calling it Costoberfest and have what seems to be an unlimited supply of fantastic costume ideas. Pinterest is a platform that naturally encourages social sharing and we love that marvel is sharing costumes that their fans have designed and giving their creativity a larger platform.
AEG Worldwide shows us that ‘We are all Kings’
AEG Worldwide, in order to promote the LA Kings, started a marketing campaign called We are all Kings. The campaign celebrates the diversity of their California fans and encourages them to rally around their team and show their support on social. Fans can share photos and videos with the #weareallkings showing their enthusiasm. We love that AEG Worldwide is creating a community of people who are passionate about the LA Kings and encouraging to share their sentiment with each other.
